This summer, the collective fate of Vincent and Johnny Chase, Eric Murphy, Turtle Assante and Ari Gold will be revealed when the hit TV show Entourage says its goodbye to the small screen. Originally premiered during the summer of 2004, Entourage will be entering its eighth and final season, with a movie rumored to begin production in the future.
Members of the sneaker community have always been drawn toward the show for several reasons, most notably Turtle's own affinity for Nike and the Air Force 1. From his custom Fukijamas to breaking out fresh pairs for movie premieres, Turtle has always been a reflection of each of us. Also a sneakerhead (in real life!) is creator Doug Ellin, whose preferred shoe of choice is the Nike SB Dunk Low. A regular customer at LA-based boutique Hot Rod, Ellin was linked up with the people at Nike SB with hopes of creating a custom Dunk Low for the series finale of Entourage.
The result is the black-based beauty you see before you. Much like the show, the "Lights Out" SB Dunk Low is conceptually simple, yet extremely effective.
